Frequently asked

Is Callsy a drop-in replacement for Bland AI?

Not always. If you built your product around Bland's Pathways DSL and low-level API, migration takes real work. But if you're starting from an AI agent (Claude, GPT, Gemini, OpenClaw), Callsy is faster to set up and the MCP integration is native — no custom tool wiring.

Which is cheaper?

For bursty or low-volume usage, Callsy is dramatically cheaper (free tier, then flat monthly). For very high-volume, per-minute usage — tens of thousands of calls/month — usage-based pricing like Bland's can come out ahead. Calculate against your actual minute-volume.

What about voice quality?

Both use top-tier neural TTS. Callsy routes to ElevenLabs, OpenAI, and Deepgram depending on the voice. Bland uses its own stack plus partners. For English, both are excellent. For non-English languages — Polish, Arabic, Hindi, etc. — Callsy has broader coverage today.

Does Bland support MCP?

As of this writing, Bland exposes a REST API that OpenAI function-calling and LangChain wrappers can use, but no native MCP server. Callsy ships an MCP server at mcp.callsy.ai/sse that Claude Desktop and any MCP client can use immediately.

Where's Callsy based?

Callsy is based in the Republic of Estonia (EU). Data stays in AWS EU regions (Frankfurt / Ireland). If EU data residency or GDPR are requirements, this matters.
